Please write to us for permission. Photographs of participants are shared only with their consent.

What is Shashwatamuda?

Shashwatamuda is an initiative dedicated to bringing the wisdom of Yoga, Indian classical music and Bharatiya Shāstras into contemporary life through education, practice, research and community engagement.

What does the name Shashwatamuda mean?

Shāśvata (शाश्वत) means eternal or timeless, and Muda (मुद) means joy or delight. Together, Shashwatamuda means “The Truth of Eternal Joy”.

Do I need prior experience to join a class?

No. Most programs welcome complete beginners. Advanced and therapeutic programs have a short orientation so we can match you with the right group.

Are the programs a substitute for medical treatment?

No. Our yoga therapy and wellness programs are educational and complementary. They are not medical treatment, and we encourage you to continue working with your healthcare provider.

How can I get in touch?
